Ivester Contemporary is hiring a full-time commission-driven Sales & Client Development Associate to help grow our collector base and expand our network of private and professional clients. We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of art sales experience who’s excited to represent a diverse group of artists.

This is a commission-driven role with meaningful earning potential.

You’ll have the support of a consistent base salary ($24,900) and a full benefits package.

Bi-weekly salary payouts, monthly commission payouts

Travel, lodging, and per diem fully covered for approved art fairs and off-site projects

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, art consultants, interior designers, and developers

Help place artwork in both private collections and commercial or large-scale contexts

Pitch and coordinate custom commissions and site-specific projects

Represent the gallery at exhibitions, events, and art fairs (with travel covered)

Follow up on leads, generate proposals, and help close deals

Collaborate with gallery leadership to strategize long-term sales growth

Requirements

2+ years of experience in art sales, ideally within a gallery, showroom, or consulting context

Clear, confident communication skills

Comfort talking about a wide range of contemporary art media

Strong follow-through, organization, and a self-motivated approach
