Gallery Director

Craig Krull Gallery

We’re looking for a Gallery Director with a natural passion for the arts who will manage the day-to-day operations for a contemporary art gallery that has become an integral part of the LA art community over the past 35 years. This position includes sales, with an emphasis on education rather than salesmanship.

This position is available to start immediately, beginning at $30/hour. It’s in-person, Tuesday - Friday from 10 - 5:30, and Saturdays 11 - 5:30, with occasional longer evenings for events.

We also offer sales commission and flexible PTO.

About the gallery: A founding gallery at the Bergamot Station Arts Center, Craig Krull Gallery is recognized for California painting, drawing, sculpture and photography, with a focus on Chicanx art. We represent major LA artists such as Peter Alexander, Don Bachardy, Gronk, Judithe Hernández, and Dora de Larios. In the ‘90s, Krull focused on conceptual and experimental photography, and featured now-iconic LA photographers like Julius Shulman and Julian Wasser. Today, the gallery represents innovative materials artists including Phranc, Brittany Mojo, Pamela Smith Hudson, and Blue McRight, and bold, emerging artists such as Matías Sauter Morera and Kelly Berg.
