Elite Art Enterprises is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Fine Art Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse operations, art handling, inventory management, packing, and logistics coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, physically capable, and understands the importance of careful handling in a fine art environment. The position plays a key role in maintaining the safety, organization, and accurate movement of artworks and related materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming artworks, crates, and shipments
Safely handle, move, wrap, pack, and prepare artworks for storage, transport, or installation
Assist with crating, uncrating, condition reporting, labeling, and inventory control
Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, racks, and viewing spaces
Pull and stage artworks for release, transport, photography, or client viewings
Load and unload trucks with care and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of artwork locations, movements, and job status
Assist with local deliveries, site work, and installation support as needed
Help maintain cleanliness, order, and professionalism throughout the warehouse
Follow all company procedures for art handling, safety, and client confidentiality
Requirements
Prior warehouse, logistics, moving, or art handling experience preferred
Experience working with fine art, galleries, museums, or auction houses is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
Ability to lift, move, and handle large or delicate items safely
Comfortable working on ladders, using basic warehouse tools, and operating equipment safely
Valid driver’s license preferred
Forklift, pallet jack, or box truck experience is a plus
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Professional attitude and respectful communication skills
